    In a cross-sectional study involving young people (YPUD) aged 16 to 24 in three Vietnamese cities, respondent-driven sampling and peer recruitment were employed. Participant selection was contingent on successful completion of an ACE-IQ screening for ACEs, and further included tests for HIV and hepatitis C, and evaluation of their sociodemographic and behavioral attributes.

    Data collection focused on 553 individuals, whose median age was 20. The breakdown by gender was 79% male, 183% female, and 27% transgender. A percentage of 758% of participants admitted to using methamphetamine. Among those surveyed, a substantial 855% reported at least one Adverse Childhood Experience, and a further 275% reported experiencing four or more of these exposures.
