We have carried out muon spin relaxation and rotation measurements on the newly discovered kagome metal KV3Sb5, and find a local field dominated by weak magnetic disorder which we associate with the nuclear moments present, and a modest temperature dependence which tracks the bulk magnetic susceptibility. We find no evidence for the existence of V4+local moments, suggesting that the physics underlying the recently reported giant unconventional anomalous Hall effect in this material warrants further studies.GaAs compound-based electronics attracted significant interest due to unique properties of GaAs like high electron mobility, high saturated electron velocity and low sensitivity to heat. QC8222 However, GaAs compound-based electronics demand a significant decrease in their manufacturing costs to be a good competitor in the commercial markets. In this context, copper-based nanoparticle (NP) inks represent one of the most cost-effective metal inks as a proper candidate to be deposited as contact grids on GaAs. In addition, Inkjet-printing, as a low-cost back-end of the line process, is a flexible manufacturing method to deposit copper NP ink on GaAs. These printed copper NP structures need to be uncapped and fused via a sintering method in order to become conductive and form an ohmic contact with low contact resistivity. The main challenge for uncapping a copper-based NP ink is its rapid oxidation potential. Laser sintering, as a fast uncapping method for NPs, reduces the oxidation of uncapped copper. The critical point to combine these two well-known industrial methods of inkjet printing and laser sintering is to adjust the printing features and laser sintering power in a way that as much copper as possible is uncapped resulting in minimum contact resistivity and high conductivity. In this research, copper ink contact grids were deposited on n-doped GaAs by inkjet-printing. The printed copper ink was converted to a copper grid via applying the optimized settings of a picosecond laser. As a result, an ohmic copper on GaAs contact with a low contact resistivity (8 mΩ cm2) was realized successfully.Postmenopausal osteoporosis (PMOP) poses a significant threat to women’s health worldwide. However, detailed molecular mechanism and therapeutic strategy for PMOP remain insufficient. Accumulating evidence suggests that miR-48-5p is implicated in the pathogenesis of osteoporosis. The present study aimed to determine the role and mechanism of miR-483-5p in PMOP. Results from PMOP patients demonstrated that miR-483-5p was up-regulated and SATB2 was down-regulated. Luciferase reporter assay identified SATB2 as a direct target gene of miR-483-5p. Experiments in MC3T3-E1 cells indicated that miR-483-5p mimic markedly inhibited cell viability as well as the expressions of OPG, RUNX2 and BMP2. And miR-483-5p inhibitor, SATB2-overexpressed lentiviruses (Lv-SATB2) or LY294002 (PI3K/AKT inhibitor) significantly reversed the above results. Similarly, PI3K/AKT signaling was activated by miR-483-5p mimic, and was inhibited in miR-483-5p inhibitor, Lv-SATB2 or LY294002 treated cells. In vivo experiments showed that miR-483-5p inhibitor significantly increased the bone mineral density and biomechanical parameters of femurs in ovariectomized (OVX) rats by targeting SATB2. In addition, the osteogenic differentiation and PI3K/AKT signaling were also regulated by miR-483-5p-SATB2 axis. Taken together, our findings indicated that miR-483-5p contributed to the pathogenesis of PMOP by inhibiting SATB2 and activating PI3K/AKT pathway. MiR-483-5p/SATB2 could be selected as a potential therapeutic target for PMOP.Androgen receptor (AR) and histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6) are important targets for cancer therapy. Given that both AR antagonists and HDAC6 inhibitors modulate AR signaling, a novel AR/HDAC6 dual inhibitor is investigated for its anticancer effects in castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). Zeta55 inhibits nuclear translocation of AR and suppresses androgen-induced PSA and TMPRSS2 expression. Meanwhile, Zeta55 selectively inhibits HDAC6 activity, leading to AR degradation. Zeta55 reduces the growth of AR-overexpressing VCaP prostate cancer cells both in vitro and in a CRPC xenograft model. These results provide preclinical proof of principle for Zeta55 as a promising therapeutic in prostate cancer treatment.Raddeanin A (RA), an active triterpenoid saponin extracted from the Anemone raddeana regel, plays an essential role in the suppression of many malignancies. We aimed to investigate the effects and potential mechanisms of RA on cervical cancer (CC). RA was used to treat CC cell lines (Hela and c-33A) for 24 h and 48 h. Then, the invasion, migration and cell cycle distribution of these two cell lines with RA treatment were respectively detected by transwell, wound healing and flow cytometry. Results revealed that RA significantly inhibited the invasion, migration, promoted the cell cycle arrest and apoptosis of Hela and c-33A cells. Moreover, RA was confirmed to activate the Slit2/Robo1 signaling, and bioinformatics analysis and luciferase reporter assay verified that miR-224-3p could target Slit2. Additionally, miR-224-3p overexpression reversed the inhibitory effect of RA on invasion and migration of CC cells, and it also restored the promoting effects of RA on cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. Lastly, miR-224-3p-upregulation inactivated the expression of Slit2 and Robo1 in RA-treated Hela and c-33A cells. These findings demonstrated that RA inhibits proliferation, invasion, migration and promotes apoptosis of CC cells through miR-224-3p/Slit2/Robo1 signaling pathway, which might guide the future studies or treatment of this disease.Bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA) is recognized to be immunogenic and tumorigenic. This study identified a novel long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) signature for predicting survival for patients with BLCA. A univariate Cox regression model and the random survival forest-variable hunting (RSF-VH) algorithm were employed to achieve variable selection. Ten lncRNAs (LOC105375787, CYTOR, URB1-AS1, C21orf91-OT1, CASC15, LOC101928433, FLJ45139, LINC00960, HOTAIR and TTTY19) with the highest prognostic values were identified to establish the prognostic model. The nomogram integrating the signature and clinical factors showed high concordance index values of 0.94, 0.7 and 0.90 in the three datasets, and the calibration curves showed concordance between the predicted and observed 3- and 5-year survival rates. The risk score based on the 10-lncRNA signature accurately distinguished high- and low-risk BLCA patients with different disease-specific survival(DSS) or overall survival(OS) outcomes, which were stratified according to clinical factors, including T stage and tumour grade.
